Both projects lie in the Triple Fault Gold Belt, the newest emergent Maritime gold district, that lies within the Iapetus Suture Zone, an intercontinental geological feature, that also encompasses New Found Gold's Queensway and Marathon Gold's Valentine Lake projects, amongst others in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, as well as Dalradian Gold's high-grade Curraghinalt gold mine in Ireland.
