To kick off this commitment, alongside Lineage’s initial public offering, Lineage Foundation for Good is donating $100,000 to the New York Common Pantry and hosting a meal kit packing event in Times Square to provide meals for families in need throughout New York. These actions further the Foundation's long-standing mission to fight food insecurity, underscored by Lineage’s commitment to help feed the world.\n\n\nOne in nine people in New York face hunger, and 1.2 million New Yorkers across the five boroughs are food insecure, according to the USDA and the New York City Mayor’s Office of Food Policy. Globally, up to 309 million people are facing acute levels of food insecurity in 2024 and do not know where their next meal is coming from, says the World Food Programme.\n\n\n“The Lineage Foundation for Good is excited for the opportunity to help tackle food insecurity in New York City, consistent with our efforts in communities around the world,” said Hannah Hoskins, Executive Director of the Lineage Foundation for Good. “Today is historic for Lineage and it’s fitting that the company would use such an important milestone to also give back.
