[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\nGUELPH, ON, Oct. 1, 2013 /CNW/ - Linamar Corporation (TSX:LNR) announced\n today that it has completed its acquisition from Muhr und Bender KG\n (\"MKG\") and Mubea Motorkomponenten GmbH (\"MMKG\") of MMKG's business of\n manufacturing and distributing assembled camshafts, located in\n Hildburghausen, Thale and Thale-Warnstedt, Germany.\n\n\n\"The acquisition of the Mubea assembled camshaft business adds\n leading-edge lightweight and fuel efficient hydroformed and assembled\n camshaft technology to our existing technology portfolio on camshafts,\"\n said Linda Hasenfratz, CEO, Linamar Guelph.  \"Additionally, their\n capabilities on hot forging production will provide a significant\n enhancement to our machining and assembly operations, globally.  We are\n pleased to add Mubea's talented workforce and advanced manufacturing\n capabilities to Linamar.\"\n\n\nThe camshaft business will be operated out of 3 locations in Germany\n employing approximately 110 people and comprising nearly $25 million in\n sales with an expectation to nearly double in size in the next 4 years.\n\n\nLinamar Corporation (TSX:LNR) is a diversified global manufacturing\n Company of highly engineered products powering vehicles, motion, work\n and lives.
