(OTC: LHGI), a diversified holdings company announced today that the company has launched its first Real Estate Asia-Pacific focused fund.The Real Estate Development Venture Fund, also known as the REDV Fund, will be executed in partnership with a Singapore-based CMS Licensed Fund Management Company, Passion Venture Capital Pte Ltd.The fund will focus on value-add and opportunistic real estate and infrastructure investment opportunities in the Asia Pacific region. Specifically, the fund will look at a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, hospitality properties, and essential infrastructure. It will also opportunistically evaluate assets in emerging alternative sectors. The fund will take a flexible investment approach across assets and platforms, utilizing equity and debt in both emerging and developed markets.The Asia Pacific (APAC) region will see the fastest recovery from the 2020 Pandemic topping 6.9% compared to the global GDP of 5.2%, according to the IMF study. The shift of Asia Pacific’s real estate sector is shaping a strong pipeline of new and exciting opportunities. APAC's favorable demographics, growing middle class, rapid urbanization, rising incomes, and increased domestic consumption, – combined with the booming e-commerce and platform-based businesses – fundamentally contributes to the rise of the region’s real estate sector.
