Aquires Additional Claim Block at its Piebiter Property, Bralorne Gold Camp, BC, Canada\n\nVancouver, Alberta CANADA, July 22, 2008 /FSC/ - Covenant Resources Ltd.  (CVRL - CNQ), announces that it has completed the acquisition of an additional mineral claim at its Piebiter property, consisting of 491.475 hectares, bringing its total claims to 3,377.97 hectares.  This claim was within the 2.5 kilometre area of mutual interest as described in the Company's original mineral property option agreement with the optionor of the Piebiter property.   The cost of the acquisition for the Company is to reimburse the optionor solely for the staking costs of the property.\n\nThe Company is a junior mining resource exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration, and development of economically viable mineral resources.  The Company's Piebiter mineral property is comprised of four mineral claims located in southwest British Columbia.  It is approximately 10 km along strike from the Bralorne mine.  The prolific Bralorne camp has produced over 4.5 million oz. of gold since 1914 - it is BC's largest gold producer.  \n\nThe Company Trades on the CNQ under the trading symbol \"CVRL\".\n\nFor more information, please refer to the Company's prospectus and engineering report available on SEDAR (www.sedar.com). \n\n\nFor further information contact:\nM.
