Leon's Responds to Superior Court of Québec Judgment

TORONTO, Aug. 2, 2017 /CNW/ - Leon's Furniture Limited ("Leon's" or the "Company") (TSX: LNF), today responded to the judgment rendered by the Superior Court of Québec on July 31, 2017, suggesting that Leon's has not complied with the Consumer Protection Act ("CPA") in certain aspects of its marketing practices in Québec.

Leon's disagrees with the judgement. The Company believes that it has complied with the provisions of the CPA and has done so pursuant to a judicially approved disclosure since 2011. Leon's intends to appeal the decision at the earliest possible opportunity.
