(OTCQX: LTRE) announced today its revenues \n and results of operations for its first quarter of fiscal year 2016, \n which ended January 1, 2016.\n \n \n In its first quarter of fiscal year 2016, Learning Tree reported \n revenues of $20.1 million, loss from continuing operations before income \n taxes of $2.2 million, and a net loss of $2.3 million, or $(0.17) per \n share. These results compare with revenues of $24.4 million, loss from \n continuing operations before income taxes of $1.2 million, and a net \n loss of $1.1 million, or $(0.09) per share, in Learning Tree’s first \n quarter of fiscal year 2015. As previously reported, on March 3, 2015, \n Learning Tree completed the sale of its subsidiary in France, Learning \n Tree International S.A., to Educinvest SPRL. Historical Condensed \n Consolidated Statement of Operations results for fiscal year 2015 for \n Learning Tree France have been reclassified as discontinued operations \n in the tables presented below.\n \n \n “I, together with the senior management team, am continuing to examine \n all facets of Learning Tree’s business to return the company to \n profitability. In particular, we are working on ways to increase our \n revenues, including increasing the number of Public Course enrollments \n and the number of attendees at our customer on-site training courses. We \n are also assessing company expenditures.
