(\"Largo\" or the \"Company\") provides an operational update for its Maracás Vanadium Project in\n Bahia, Brazil.\n\n\nWhile Largo is pleased to inform investors that the majority of the\n system areas at the Maracás Project remain on track for commissioning\n in the Fourth Quarter of 2013, the Company hereby announces that a\n delay to the erection of the kiln has occurred because of the need to\n recast four of the support rollers required for the kiln. Delayed\n delivery of the rollers has forced Largo to revise its final schedule\n for the mechanical completion of the kiln area, and therefore for full\n commissioning of the Maracás Vanadium Project by approximately one month, to February 2014 (The additional delay will include a 10 day holiday by contractors over\n the Christmas period).\n\n\nAs announced on June 13, 2013, recasting became necessary when the\n quality standards of the original rollers procured from the kiln\n manufacturer were not met by its subcontractor. The four replacement\n rollers in question were only available to be loaded onto a ship at\n port on August 15, 2013 and are currently en route to Brazil.
