[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nLAVAL, QC, Oct. 2 /CNW/ - Stellar is pleased to announce that the 2007\nspring-summer drilling program on Vassan was highly successful as Stellar\ndemonstrated that the main structure (H-3) is still present around the\n600 metres level and that two new parallel structures appear below the\n400 metres level.\n\n\nStellar has completed its spring-summer drilling program on its 100%\nowned Vassan property, located within the Val d'Or mining camp. A total of\nseven holes were drilled to test the depth extension if the Hamelin gold zone\n(4,932 metres). Three holes, drilled directly down dip of the known\nmineralized structure, hit one or more gold-copper intercepts over metric core\nlength. A total of seven holes were completed.\n\n\nThe latest drilling program demonstrated two important facts:\n\n\n1. The Hamelin zone (H-3), reappears very strongly below 500 meter\n (V2007-04: 5.82 g/t Au over 8,90 m)\n2. Two new veins appear below the 400 meter level (H-1 and H-2). Vein H-1\n can be followed so far for 200 metres vertically by 200 metres\n laterally.\n\nThe following table gives a list of all mineralized intervals above 1 g/t\nAu cut during this program (plus one zinc intercept).\n\nDRILL HOLE FROM TO LENGTH GRADES\n (m) (m) (m) Au g/t Cu (%)\n\nV2007-01 72.60 73.40 0.80 7.81% Zn\nV2007-02 306.35 306.90 0.55 8.74\n 620.20 621.30 1.10 13.28 0.96\n 626.40 628.60 2.20 10.52 0.47\nV2007-03 407.70 408.25 0.55 4.97 0.23\n 648.70 649.30 0,60 3.26 0.15\nV2007-04 470.90 471.20 0.30 1.47 0.82\n 667.85 676.75 8.90 5.82 0.56\nV2007-05 520.70 521.10 0.40 1.06\n 628.30 628.80 0.50 1.54 0.11\n 740.45 742.35 1.90 6.42 0.10\nV2007-06 422.15 422.50 0.35 1.47\n 654.10 654.65 0.55 2.50 0.12\nV2007-07 687.00 687.40 0.40 1.78 0.13\n\nIt is important to note that the 8.9 metre intercept in hole V2007-04 does\nnot represent true width as the core angle appeared quite low for that\nparticular structure. Average core angle for the fore mentioned intervals is\n40-45 degrees.\nIt becomes clear that the Hamelin vein system plunges vertically and that\nit consist of a multiple veins system at depth compared to a single vein from\nsurface down to the 400 metres level.
