Francois Lalonde has been\npromoted to President and CEO\n \n \n \n \n of\nStellar AfricaGold Inc.\n \n \n \n \n \n Changes to Management\n \n \n \n \n Highlights of management changes:\n \n \n \n \n \n \n -\n \n \n J. François Lalonde has been\npromoted to President and Chief Executive Officer\n \n \n \n \n \n \n -\n \n \n John Cumming will serve as\nExecutive Chairman.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n -\n \n \n James Henning, B.Comm., CPA,\nCA, has been Chief Financial Officer appointed\n \n \n \n \n \n \n J. François Lalonde has been promoted to President\n& CEO. Mr. Lalonde, a civil engineer, brings extensive African\nbusiness experience to the leadership of the company after working\nmore than 30 years with major engineering and construction\nmultinationals such as SNC-Lavalin,\n \n \n Pomerleau\n \n \n and\n \n \n until now, with\n \n \n Bouygues Travaux Publics, where he served as\ninternational business development consultant\n \n \n for the last 15 years\n \n \n . He has\nparticular knowledge of the mining and infrastructure markets on the\nAfrican continent as well as the Middle East where he has notably\nparticipated in the development and delivery of large-scale energy,\ntransportation and other infrastructure projects.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Mr. Lalonde was\n \n \n actively\n \n \n involved in the\n \n \n Company’s re-orientation in\n \n \n Morocco\nand Côte d’Ivoire, including the\n \n \n acquisition\nof a major interest\n \n \n of Tichka Est Gold project\n \n \n in partnership with Office Nationale des\nHydrocarbures et des Mines (ONHYM) in Morocco.\n \n \n In accepting his new position Mr. Lalonde commented “In the\nnear term\n \n \n the Company will continue to focus on\nthe ongoing exploration of the Tichka-Est gold project in Morocco,\nbut\n \n \n through the coming years\n \n \n there will be great opportunities for junior explorers in\ncopper and silver, particularly in Morocco.
