[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nMONTREAL, Feb. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - Stellar Pacific Ventures (SPX) is pleased\nto announce that drilling will resume on its Vassan property located within\nthe Val d'Or gold camp. The program comprises two phases of 2,000 m each\n(total budget of $400,000). Phase 1 mostly consist of definition drilling\naround previously obtained high grade intersections while Phase 2 will test\nthe extensions of the Hamelin structure.\nCompilation of the 2005 results and re interpretation of all historical\nand recent data indicates that several previous drill holes (2002 and 2003)\nprobably missed the structure. The company is confident that the depth,\nwestern and eastern extensions of the Hamelin structure are probably still\nwide open. A high grade corridor, approximately 150 m wide, can be defined\nwithin a more extensive vein structure. Best grades obtained in 2005 include:\n60.40 g/t Au over 0.41 m in hole V2005-09, 33.5 g/t Au over 0.70 m and\n24.90 g/t Au over 0.30 in V2005-01 and 24.50 g/t Au over 1.10 in V2005-04. The\nsub-vertical structure can now be traced laterally for approximately 350 m and\nfor 500 m at depth.\nMost holes of Phase 1 will be centered on the high grade corridor while\ndrilling of Phase 2 will be aimed at its extensions. Two short holes of\nPhase 1 will test the western extension of the structure since these holes\nhave to be drilling on ice. The objective of the company is to produce a\npreliminary mineral inventory before the end of the year.\nThe technical information contained in this press release has been\nprepared by Pierre O'Dowd P.
