[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nMONTREAL, Dec. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - Stellar Pacific Ventures (SPX) wishes to\nrelease the first results from its current drilling program on its Vassan\nproperty located near the town of Val d'Or. The company is completing a 10\nhole drill program on the Hamelin mineralized zone and is quite pleased with\npreliminary results obtained from core study and partial assay reports.\n\nThe following table illustrates results available at this time :\n\n>\n\nThese results demonstrate the high grade nature of the mineralized veins\non the property but also their limited width. The fact that a majority of\nholes successfully intersected the target structure indicates that the level\nof understanding of the geometry of the structure was significantly increased\ncompared to previous drilling program. Once deviation problems are put under\ncontrol, we shall be in a position to obtain piercing points at a more regular\nspacing and eventually carry out resource estimation.\nThe mineralized structure consists of semi massive to massive sulphides\n(pyrrhotite, pyrite, chalcopyrite) and/or sulphide rich grey quartz veins and\nveinlets. Shearing is usually absent indicating that it is a tensional\nenvironment. The structure strikes in an ENE direction and its dip is \nsub-vertical. It exhibits an easterly plunge at about 40 degrees. It is open\nto depth and to the east.\nAll samples have been assayed at ALS Chemex of Val d'Or by FA-AA and \nFA-GRAV. Control samples (blanks and standards) are systematically\nincorporated in our lots and pulps and rejects are re assayed for sample\ngrading above 1 g/t Au. Drilling is being carried out under the supervision of\nprofessional geologist and qualified person (NI43-101) Pierre O'Dowd.\nThe property, consist of 7 claims totalling 280 hectares in rang 2 of\nVassan Township, is strategically located near several present and past\nproducers including the Siscoe mine, directly to the south of the property,\nthe Kiena mine, located 5 km to the south-west of the property and the\nSullivan mine, located 3.5 km to the south-east of the property and finally\nthe Wesdome development project located some 3 km to the west of the project.\nThe technical information contained in this press release has been\nprepared by Pierre O'Dowd P.
