(the \"Company\" or \"Dunnedin\") (TSX-V: DVI) today reported the Company's first diamond recovery results from the Kahuna kimberlite. The 144.44 kg sample of Kahuna returned 13 commercial-sized stones (+0.85 mm) totalling 0.334 carats, for a sample grade of 2.32 carats per tonne. The largest recovered diamond was a 0.12 carat clear and colourless twinned octahedral stone. Results are provided in the table below.\n\n \n \nTable 1: Diamonds recovered from the Kahuna kimberlite by Dunnedin\n\n\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\nSample\n\n\n\n\nWeight in Dry Tonnes\n\n\n\n\nTotal\n\n\n\nNumber of Diamonds Recovered (+0.425 mm)\n\n\n\n\nTotal Carat\n\n\n\nWeight (+0.85 mm)\n\n\n\n\nEndecott Sieve Size (mm)\n\n\n\n\n0.425\n\n\n\n\n0.60\n\n\n\n\n0.85\n\n\n\n\n1.18\n\n\n\n\n1.70\n\n\n\n\nSample Grade\n\n\n\n(cpt)\n\n\n\n\nLargest\n\n\n\nDiamonds\n\n\n\n(carats)\n\n\n\n\nKahuna\n\n\n\n\n0.144\n\n\n\n\n87\n\n\n\n\n0.33\n\n\n\n\n57\n\n\n\n\n17\n\n\n\n\n10\n\n\n\n\n1\n\n\n\n\n2\n\n\n\n\n2.32\n\n\n\n\n0.12, 0.09, 0.03\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \nFigure 1: Commercial-sized diamonds (+0.85 mm) recovered from the Kahuna kimberlite \n\n\n \n\nClick Image To View Full Size\n\n \n \nChris Taylor, Dunnedin's CEO said, \"The Kahuna kimberlite is a large target with a maiden Inferred Resource completed by Apex Geoscience Ltd. of over 3 million tonnes, and potential for an additional 3.7 to 10.7 million tonnes at a range of depths as per Apex's Target for Further Exploration. Historical bulk sampling yielded 1.04 carats (+0.85 mm) per tonne, but audits to determine a final sample grade do not appear to have been completed by the past operator. With this latest sample returning 2.32 carats per tonne, the Company is strongly encouraged by the size and grade potential of this kimberlite, and we view bulk sampling to determine diamond value as a priority.\"\n\n\n \nDetails of an Inferred Resource and Target for Further Exploration have been published for the Kahuna kimberlite, both of which were completed by APEX Geoscience Ltd. and are available as a National Instrument NI 43-101 technical report filed on the SEDAR website (www.sedar.com) on March 12, 2015.
