(KS - TSX Venture, KLSVF - OTCBB_Pink_Sheets), is pleased to provide an update regarding the Connaught property, a road accessible silver-lead prospect located west of Dawson City in Yukon Territory. Work at this property is being done through a 50/50 joint venture with ATAC Resources Ltd.\n\nThe 2008 exploration project at the Connaught property had four main objectives - all of which have been successfully achieved:\n\n1) to ready known silver and lead-rich veins for future bulk sampling;\n\n2) to establish grades and geometries of known veins for future diamond drilling;\n\n3) to discover additional veins in poorly exposed areas where soil geochemical and/or geophysical surveys had identified potential; and,\n\n4) to expand soil geochemical coverage to recognize more vein targets in areas that had received little or no previous exploration.\n\nAssays are pending for approximately 4000 soil samples and 280 rock, chip and channel samples, collected during the 2008 program. The soil sampling covered approximately 10 sq km, bringing total coverage to about 39 sq km or 60% of the property. The various types of rock samples were mostly taken from bedrock exposed in four open cuts dug along veins where bulk sampling is expected to be done in 2009 or from 44 exploration trenches, which exposed four new vein zones.\n\nThe Connaught property has seen small-scale historical production of silver and lead from galena-rich lenses in veins. Klondike Silver contemplates extracting bulk samples of similar mineralization and shipping those samples directly to a smelter or processing them at its mill in Sandon, BC to produce a concentrate for smelting. The Company is currently conducting a bulk sampling program on silver- and lead-rich veins at its wholly owned Stump property in southeastern Yukon.\n\nThe work at the Connaught property is being supervised by Bill Wengzynowski, P Eng. who is the qualified person for the project as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Wengzynowski has reviewed the technical content of this news release.\n\nAbout Klondike Silver\nKlondike Silver Corp. has assembled a quali...
