(the “Company” or\n“Kirkstone”) (TSXV: KSM, FWB:VO0) announces the acquisition, through\nstrategic staking by the Company’s agents, of the Douglas River Uranium\nProject, located in the Cluff Lake\nuranium district of northern Saskatchewan.\n\n\nThe Douglas River Uranium Project\nencompasses approximately 1,326 hectares and is\nsituated along the edge of the Carswell meteorite impact multi-ring\nstructure, an area recognized for its\ngeological significance and historical uranium activity. The property\nlies approximately 7 kilometres south of the decommissioned Cluff Lake uranium\nmine, which historically produced\napproximately 62 million pounds of U₃O₈ between 1980 and\n2002 (CNSC, 2023).\n\n\nExploration interest in the Douglas River area is based\non a series of subsurface conductive anomalies totaling more than 12\nkilometres, which were identified by\nCogema\nResources Inc. following a Geotem Electromagnetic\nSurvey completed in 1994. The Project is\naccessible via Highway 955 and associated local trail networks.\n\n\nThe Douglas River Uranium Project is located\napproximately 15 kilometres south of Kirkstone’s Gorilla Lake\nclaims. With the addition of Douglas\nRiver, Kirkstone now holds a combined 8,230.9\nhectares of mineral tenure in the Cluff\nLake district, referred to collectively as the Carswell Complex\nProject. A location map showing Douglas\nRiver in relation to the Gorilla Lake Project and surrounding\ngeological features is included as Figure 1 below.\n\n\nClive Massey, President & CEO of\nKirkstone, stated:\n\n\n“The Douglas River acquisition adds significantly to\nour land position in the Cluff Lake region. The\nCompany intends to complete further a technical review and determine\nhow to best proceed within the broader Carswell Complex\nProject.”\n\n\nThe Company will provide further information as the technical\nassessment and planning pr...
