VANCOUVER, Aug. 25 /CNW/ - Tumi Resources Limited (the "Company")
(TSXv-TM; OTCBB - TUMIF; Frankfurt - TUY).
Mr. David Henstridge, President, is pleased to announce that the Induced
Polarization and Resistivity Survey (the "Survey") to be undertaken at La
Trini Silver-Gold Prospect has now commenced. The Survey, which is expected to
take two weeks to complete, will consist of ten line-kilometres covering an
area of about 1,400 metres by 600 metres on the grid recently established by
the Company.
Silver-gold mineralization at La Trini occurs within a gently northerly-
dipping silicified rhyolite containing disseminated pyrite and argentite. The
Induced Polarization survey should help in tracing the mineralization beyond
its currently known limits, both down dip and along strike from the existing
surface showings, underground workings and drill holes.
The qualified person for La Trini project, David Henstridge, a Fellow of
the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Member of the
Australian Institute of Geoscientists, has visited the La Trini project area
and has verified the contents of this news release.

On behalf of the Board,

"David Henstridge"
