In preparation for drilling, the Company has\nbeen undertaking a detailed Metal Mobil Ion (\"MMI\") geochemistry program on\nPL 1406 and PL 2043. The Company will shortly be reporting on MMI soil\ngeochemistry being conducted on the adjoining PL 2043. The work program is\ndesigned and supervised by Marc Boisvert P. Eng.\nResults from this detailed survey on PL 1406 will assist Midlands in\nselecting drill location sites along previously detected soil geochemical\nanomalies. On PL 1406, the work program entails three detailed grids with\nlines spaced at 100 metres and sampling stations along the line at 20 metre\nintervals. Two grids, the main Itilima Grid and the Itilima West Grid, are\ncovering two anomalous areas bordering both sides of a diorite sill over a\nstrike length of 3 to 4 kilometres. The third grid is covering an anomalous\ngold area coinciding with an iron rich dyke taking place along a NE structural\nlineament.\nA total of 2157 samples were collected along 57 kilometres of grid lines\non PL 1406. Samples have been prepared at the SGS laboratories in Mwanza,\nTanzania and are being shipped to the SGS Laboratory in Canada for analysis of\ngold plus four pathfinder elements (Co, Ni, Pb, Ag) using the \"Mobile Metal\nIons\" (MMI-B5) procedure.\nThe first 600 sample batch was delivered to the SGS laboratory in Mwanza,\nTanzania, and results are expected in August and September 2006. The Company\nis targeting November 2006 for commencement of the next phase of drilling for\ngold on the Itilima Project.\nThe Itilima Project is located in the Lake Victoria Goldfields, an area\nwith over 40 million ounces of known gold reserves. Gold mines in the area\ninclude Barrick Gold's Bulyanhulu, AngloGold Ashanti's Geita and Resolute\nMining's Golden Pride. Previous RC drilling done in 2004 also confirmed the\npresence of diamondiferous kimberlites on the Itilima Project.\n\nForward-looking statements involve a number of known and unknown risks,\nuncertainties and other factors, which may cause the actual results,\nperformance or achievements ...
