[{"type":"text","content":"\n Kenetics Group Limited\n18 August 2006\n\n\nFor Immediate Release 18 August 2006\n\n\n Kenetics Group Limited\n\n ('Kenetics', the 'Group' or the 'Company')\n\n\n\n INTRODUCTION TO TRADING ON THE AIM MARKET OF THE\n\n LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE\n\n\nKenetics who provide customised and bespoke solutions, products and systems to\ncustomers through a combination of RFID, wireless technologies and IT systems is\npleased to announce that its shares will be listing on the AIM market of the\nLondon Stock Exchange today and trading will begin at 0800hrs under the ticker\nsymbol KEN and with a market capitalisation of £9 million.\n\n\nKenetics is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions, products and systems\nto customers through a combination of RFID, wireless technologies and IT systems\nfor diversified applications that include security management, enforcement and\ndata management.\n\n\nKey Information:\n\n\n• The Group has three main business divisions providing both hardware\nand software as a 'one-stop solution' for customers, allowing them to identify,\ntrack and manage their resources. The divisions are supported by in-house\nprototyping, manufacturing and testing facilities.\n\n\n• Since incorporation in 2001 Kenetics has successfully completed more\nthan seven large-scale projects in different market sectors, including homeland\nsecurity, law enforcement, healthcare, livestock and library management, in\nAustralia, China, Singapore and other countries. These customers include large\nmulti-national semiconductor giants, government agencies and security\norganisations.\n\n\n• Kenetics has been profitable and without debt since 2002. In the\nyear ended 31 December 2005 the Group achieved turnover of £0.9 million and\nprofit before tax of £0.3 million.\n\n\n• The Group's admission to AIM will allow access to the UK and\nEuropean capital markets to enable the Group to fund the further development of\nits business.\n\n\n• The Group currently has four main applications for its products\nwhich have been sold globally. These are:\n\n\n(i.) Kenetics Electronic Livestock Management System for\ne-farming, addressing the livestock management market needs to implement better\ntracking systems.
