Investors should not\n subscribe for any transferable securities referred to in this announcement\n except on the basis of information in the prospectus.\n\n\n KAZAKHGOLD GROUP LIMITED\n\n\n ADMISSION TO OFFICIAL LIST AND COMMENCEMENT OF UNCONDITIONAL DEALINGS ON THE\n LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE\n\n\nKazakhGold Group Limited ('KazakhGold' or the 'Company'), the indirect parent\ncompany of JSC Kazakhaltyn Mining-Metallurgical Concern ('Kazakhaltyn'), which\nis one of the leading gold producers in Kazakhstan, today announced that its\nGlobal Depositary Receipts ('GDRs') will be admitted to the Official List of the\nFinancial Services Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange plc's\nregulated market for listed securities.\n\n\nING Bank N.V., London Branch acted as the financial adviser to KazakhGold and\nas Lead Manager in relation to the Global Offer of the GDRs. Troika Dialog\n(Bermuda) Ltd. acted as Co-Lead Manager\n\n\nIt is expected that admission of the GDRs to the Official List of the Financial\nServices Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange plc's regulated\nmarket for listed securities will become effective and unconditional dealings\nwill commence at 8.00 a.m. (London time) today under the symbol 'KZG'.\n\n\nKanat Shaikhanovich Assaubayev, President of KazakhGold, said:\n\n'Today marks the beginning of a new phase in the life of KazakhGold.
