(\"\n \n Karnalyte\n \n \" or the \"\n \n Company\n \n \") (TSX: KRN) today announced it is pursuing the sale of certain non-essential assets from its Wynyard Project as part of its ongoing efforts to optimize its business operations and advance the project.\n \n\n \"The asset sale allows us to advance the focus on our strategic objectives,\" said\n \n Danielle Favreau\n \n , Interim Chief Executive Officer. \"Cleaning up underused assets from the project site helps the company remain cost efficient and allows us to reallocate resources to where they are most needed as we work toward the successful development of our Wynyard Project.\"\n \n\n Assets for sale include a loader, skid steer, rig mats, miscellaneous office supplies and equipment. Karnalyte owns the construction ready Wynyard Potash Project, with planned phase 1 production of 625,000 tonnes per year (\"\n \n TPY\n \n \") of high grade granular potash, and two subsequent phases of 750,000 TPY each, taking total production up to 2.125 million TPY.
