[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n 04 September 2014\n\n Diamond Exploration Update \n\n * Extensive Till Sampling Completed in Three Target Regions\n \n * Kimberlite Indicator Minerals Processing Underway\n \n__________________________________________________________________________________\n\nKarelian Diamond Resources plc (\"Karelian\") (AIM: KDR, ESM: KDRI), the diamond\nexploration company focused on Finland, is pleased to announce the completion\nof an extensive till sampling programme on three of the Company's diamond\ntarget regions in Finland - Kuhmo, Kuusamo and Kuopio - Kaavi.\n\nThe samples have now been dispatched for laboratory analysis. The targets\nsampled included the Riihivaara target in the Kuhmo region where the Company\nhas previously identified positive G9 and G10 diamond indicator minerals and is\nseeking to define the origin of these indicator minerals. Karelian's diamond\nexploration programme in this region has at Seitaperä already delineated the\nlargest (6.9 hectare) known diamondiferous kimberlite in Finland.\n\nOther sampling in the Kuhmo region included sampling at Havukkasuo which lies\nto the immediate north of Seitaperä.\n\nSamples have also been collected in the newly granted diamond exploration claim\nreservations in the Kuusamo and Kuopio - Kaavi regions.\n\nThe sampling programme was carried out on behalf of the Company by the Finnish\nGeological Survey (GTK).\n\nProfessor Richard Conroy, Chairman commented:\n\n\"I am delighted that further progress has been madeat several sites, especially\natthe Riihivaara targetwhere we already havepositive G9 and G10 indicator\nminerals present.
