[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n RNS Number : 8963U\n Journeo PLC\n 03 August 2020\n \n \n \n \n This announcement contains inside information for the purposes of Article 7 of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (\"MAR\"). \n \n 3 Aug 2020\n \n Journeo plc\n \n \n (\"Journeo\", the \"Company\" or the \"Group\")\n \n \n 3-year framework contract renewal with Abellio bus London\n \n \n \n \n \n Journeo plc (AIM: JNEO), the information systems and transport technical services Group, is pleased to announce a 3-year renewal of a framework contract with Abellio bus London. \n \n \n \n \n \n Abellio has been operating successfully in the UK since 2002 and are one of the largest rail companies in the UK, operating five rail franchises in addition to a major bus company serving London. Under the contract, Journeo will continue to provide CCTV and associated equipment on all new Abellio buses along with those transferred in to their fleet via competitive tendering in London. \n \n The anticipated value of the contract over three years, is c.£2 million and the framework includes a further £1.2m of on-vehicle technology solutions as customer options.\n \n Approximately 200 of vehicles already installed with the Journeo EDGE intelligent IoT gateway will be connected into a new cloud-based Video Management System (VMS) making Abellio one of the first London operators to benefit from 4G video transfer. \n \n The Journeo platform also allows Abellio to connect a wide array of other systems on the bus into a central cloud-server offering fast, secure and real-time access to information as well as being able to integrate future technology options, a number of which are already included within the framework.\n Jon Eardley, Engineering Director at Abellio London, commented: \"We have chosen Journeo Fleet Systems to be our technical services partner, based on their innovative approach to supporting and upgrading all our on-board systems.\"\". \n Russ Singleton, Journeo Chief Executive Officer, said: \"We are delighted that Abellio have asked us to continue providing support services for their safety-critical video systems and supply our innovative solutions for their London bus fleet.
