[{"type":"text","content":"\n\nJohnson Matthey announces completion of Medical Device Components sale\n1st July 2024\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\nFurther to the announcement on 20th March 2024, Johnson Matthey Plc (JM) is pleased to announce that it has today completed the sale of its Medical Device Components business (MDC) in accordance with the terms of the sale agreement entered into between JM and Montagu Private Equity for cash consideration of US$700 million (£550 million) on a cash free debt free basis.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe board confirms its intention to return £250 million of the net proceeds from the sale of MDC by way of an on-market share buyback programme.
