[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 4526G Dart Group PLC 06 June 2013 \n \n\n \nDart Group PLC (\"the Group\")\n\nRoyal Mail retender\n \n \nDart Group PLC, the Leisure Airline, Package Holidays and Distribution & Logistics Group, is pleased to announce that it has received notification from the Royal Mail that, subject to contract, Jet2.com has retained contracts for six out of the eight routes currently operated.\n \nThe Group has been operating flights for the Royal Mail through its subsidiaries since 1980. The current routes with the Royal Mail are due to terminate in 2014. As notified in the Company's results for the year ended 31 March 2012, Jet2.com was invited to retender, along with a number of other airlines, for the Royal Mail's revised network from 2014. \n \nAs a result of the competitive retender process, there has been a reduction in the margin that will be enjoyed by the Group going forward. However, this was expected and the Royal Mail business will still make a valuable contribution.
