[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 4423N Jersey Oil and Gas PLC 26 October 2016 \n\n26 October 2016\n \nJersey Oil and Gas plc\n(\"Jersey Oil & Gas\" or the \"Company\")\n \nLicence P.2170 Verbier Prospect Site Survey\n \nJersey Oil & Gas (AIM: JOG), an independent upstream oil and gas company focused on the UK Continental Shelf region of the North Sea, is pleased to announce, further to its announcement of 6 October 2016, the geophysical survey vessel M/V Fugro Galaxy, on contract to Statoil (U.K.) Limited (\"Statoil\") as operator of UK Seaward Licence P.2170, Blocks 20/5b & 21/1d (the \"P.2170 Licence\"), arrived on location in the UK Central North Sea at 07:00hrs on 25 October 2016. This vessel is scheduled to acquire a site survey over the Verbier prospect located within the P.2170 Licence area in preparation for a potential exploration well expected to be drilled in 2017 to test the Verbier prospect.
