(\"Great Bear\" or the \"Company\")(CNSX:GBR) is pleased to announce it has entered into an Option Agreement with Pinnacle Mines Ltd. (\"Pinnacle\")(TSXV: PNL) for the 100% acquisition of Pinnacle's Surprise Creek claims located 32 kilometres northeast of Stewart, BC. The property comprises 19 claims totaling 7,472 ha. In order to acquire the claims, the Company must pay $150,000 and issue 200,000 common shares upon regulatory approval, issue 250,000 common shares within 12 months and 250,000 common shares within 24 months. The property is subject to a 1% NSR which can be purchased for $1M. A finder's fee will be paid in accordance to regulatory policy.Surprise Creek - Eskay Creek and BA Project Stratigraphy in the Stewart Mining DistrictFollowing on the positive results of the 2006 to 2008 drilling at its nearby 8,000 ha BA Project, Great Bear continues to significantly expand its holdings in this highly prospective silver rich massive sulphide district. The Surprise Creek property contains the same geological units that host high-grade silver-lead-zinc mineralization at the BA Project and is located less than 6.5 kilometres to the north of the BA claims. The Eskay Creek mine, a Stewart district past producer of +3.2M ounces of gold and +60.6M ounces of silver, is also located within the same upper Hazelton Group rocks of the Stikine terrane.Mr. Chris Taylor, M.Sc.
