He will be reporting\ndirectly to Brian White, our chief geologist, and assisting him with matters\npertaining to geologic mapping of the structures, which we believe look most\npromising as hosts to silver-bearing veins in the Crescent's upper country."\n\n\n"We are delighted to welcome him aboard and believe his expertise with\nour specific geology will make a great contribution to Brian White's efforts\nto locate more silver in the Crescent than its previous owners," Linder added.\n\n\nMr. Bird authored a report on the silver district during his studies\nentitled, "The Noxon Arch: Thickness of the Revett Formation throughout\nnorthern Idaho and western Montana," and co-authored "Late Cretaceous and\nTertiary structure of the western Idaho and Orofino shear zones." He is a\nmember of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Geological\nSociety of America. His office is located at the Crescent Mine main office\nbuilding a few hundred feet from the Hooper Tunnel portal.\n\n\nSNS Silver Corp. owns 100% of the Crescent Mine in the Coeur d'Alene\nmining district. The Crescent Mine is a historic high-grade silver producer.\nFrom 1917-1982 the property produced 25 million ounces of silver at an average\ngrade of 27.3 ounces per ton. Prior to its last shut down in the 80's,\nprevious operators of the Crescent Mine reported over 9 million ounces of\nsilver resources at an average grade of 18 ounces per ton.
