[{"type":"text","content":"\n Jarvis Securities plc\n14 September 2006\n\n\nJARVIS SECURITIES PLC\n\n\nRETIREMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR\n\n\nThe Board of Jarvis Securities plc ('Jarvis' or 'the Company') wishes to\nannounce that Mr Lionel Grant will be retiring from his position as a\nnon-executive director of the Company on 30 September 2006.\n\nLionel was one of the founding shareholders of the Company's trading subsidiary,\nJarvis Investment Management plc, when it was started in 1984. Lionel\nsubsequently joined the business and has been a key part of the management team\nthat has grown the group over the past 22 years. Lionel will celebrate his 74th\nbirthday in January and has been considering retirement for some years.
