Latham(James) PLC 12 January 2005 James Latham plc announces that, at the extraordinary general meeting of the Company held earlier today, the resolution to approve the subdivision of the Company's £1 shares into 25p shares was approved by shareholders. The record date for the subdivision is 12 January 2005 and the effective date of the subdivision is 13 January 2005. Trading in the £1 shares will cease at the close of business today and trading in the new 25p shares will begin from 13 January 2005.
