[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 3314P James Halstead PLC 01 October 2013 \n \n\n \n 1 October 2013\n \nJAMES HALSTEAD PLC\nPRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT OF AUDITED RESULTS\nFOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2013\n\"Record dividends\"\n \nKey Figures\n \n\n\n\n\n· \n\n\nRevenue slightly reduced at £217.1 million (2012: £226.3 million) - down 4.1%\n\n\n\n\n· \n\n\nProfit before tax £41.2 million (2012: £42.7 million) - down 3.5%\n\n\n\n\n· \n\n\nEarnings per 5p ordinary share of 14.8p (2012: 14.7p) - up 1%\n\n\n\n\n· \n\n\nFinal dividend per ordinary share proposed of 6.0p (2012: 5.5p) - up 9.1%\n\n\n\n\n· \n\n\nStrong cash inflow from operations of £42.1 million (2012: £37.3 million)\n\n\n\n\n· \n\n\nNil net gearing\n\n\n\n\n \nMr Mark Halstead, Chief Executive, commenting on the results, said:\n \n \"We have grown significantly in the last few years and though in this year like for like turnover is 1.1% behind last year this should not detract from the upward trend we have seen and are determined to exploit.
