In parallel with the construction, JFD has delivered an extensive training programme for the ROKN's maintainers and operators and completed a major upgrade on the ROKN's existing rescue submersible LR5K. The contract, worth £10m over a period of 3 years, was awarded to JFD in December 2006.\n\nThe submersible, one of two currently in build at JFD's Renfrew premises, has been designed and built to a very tight timescale and will be delivered on time in accordance with the original project schedule. After completion of sea trials in November, ROKS DSRV II will be delivered to Jin Hae in South Korea where she will be installed onboard the Chung-Hae-Jin and will complete its commissioning work later this year.\n\nContacts\n\n\n\n\n\nJames Fisher & Sons plc\nwww.james-fisher.co.uk \nJames Fisher Defence\n\n\nNick Henry\n\nSimon Harris\n\n\nCEO\n\nMD\n\n\n\n020 7614 9508\n\n07901 915 808\n\n\n\n\n\nFinancial Dynamics\n\n\n\nRichard Mountain\n\n\n\n\n\n020 7269 7121\n\n\n\n\n\nEditor's Notes:\n\nJames Fisher & Sons plc, the parent company to James Fisher Defence, is a leading provider of marine services with its business divided into four divisions: Offshore Oil Services, Marine Oil Services, Specialist Technical Services and Defence.\n\n\nThis information is provided by RNSThe company news service from the London Stock Exchange  END  MSCSEWFILSASEFU \n ","length":4573,"tagName":"div"}]
