This recognises the company's exceptional international growth over the past 3 years, which has been instrumental in the group's successful organic development over this period. \n\nThe Queen's Award for Enterprise is the most acclaimed international award for businesses which demonstrate substantial growth in overseas earnings and commercial success, to a level which is outstanding for the goods and services provided. The Queen makes the awards annually on the advice of the Prime Minister who is advised by representatives of the Government, industry, commerce and trade unions.\n\nRMS designs and manufactures high power electrical connectors for the oil industry. Recognised as the market leading supplier in the North Sea, the business has over twenty years' experience supplying downhole power and instrumentation, wellhead and packer penetrators, along with subsea connectors for oilfields around the globe. The company employs 33 people and has agents in regions around the world including Egypt, China and Indonesia.
