NED Appointment
J D Wetherspoon plc has appointed John Herring as a non-executive director, effective immediately, and he will also chair the audit committee. Herring is a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in corporate finance, including involvement in JD Wetherspoon's initial public offering, and has previously served on the company's board from 1997 to 2011.
