[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 2029Z IXICO plc 13 March 2017 \n\n13 March 2017\n \nIXICO plc\n(\"IXICO\" or the \"Company\")\n \nIXICO signs US$1.5m contract\n \nNew contract with an existing top 10 pharma customer\n \nEndorsement of IXICO's expertise in brain diseases and the value to pharma of its innovative technology for image analysis\n \nIXICO, the brain health company, today announces that it has signed a new contract worth US$1.5m for its Imaging Clinical Trial Technologies and Services with an existing customer which is a top 10 pharmaceutical company. \n \nThe contract is for the supply of services to a Phase IIb clinical trial of patients in the early stages of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (\"PSP\"), a Parkinson's-like neurodegenerative condition caused by the premature loss of nerve cells in certain parts of the brain.\n \nIXICO will collect, manage and analyse MRI scans acquired at over 90 international specialist imaging centres utilising its proprietary TrialTracker™ platform. This data analytics technology has been specifically modified for quantifying drug effects in PSP patients.
