He was Chief Executive Officer of Lipton Ltd, the global\ntea sourcing organization for Unilever with operations in six countries for five\nyears from 2000 to 2006. During Mr Morrison's period as CEO, substantial\noperational & financial improvements were made to the Unilever global tea supply\nchain and he also played a significant part in addressing issues in the\ninternational tea trade. In the immediate years prior to 2000, Mr Morrison had\nsenior international food & beverage roles for Unilever outside the UK, in the\nsupply chain and in R&D, both at the Rotterdam head office and in the Unilever\nfood and beverage subsidiary in Australia.\n\nCommenting on the appointment, Mr Gordon Stevens, Chairman of Phytopharm, said;\n'the appointment of a person of this calibre and experience to the Board of\nPhytopharm will provide an important asset to the Company and I am delighted\nthat Sandy will be joining us.
