The company has developed a unique patented 'microduct' and air blown fibre technology that enables it to install fibre networks in far less time and at significantly lower costs than traditional methods.
Depending on a client's requirement, an appropriate width Micro-trench cut is made to enable Microduct installation. The company's 'microduct' is laid directly into a slot cut into existing asphalt, concrete, modular or block paved or soft infrastructure.
Microduct networks have no distance limitations as the polyethylene tubes can be connected using specially designed connectors providing water and air tight connections. Once installation and reinstatement is complete, up to 576 strands of Industry compliant fibre can be blown from end to end in a matter of minutes. The capability to blow the bundles long distances without the need to splice, reduces manpower and costs, leading to simpler network designs and reduces up front capital outlay associated with traditional cabling requirements.
Microducting is the ideal solution for last-mile connections between the end-users and the main networks. This technique also provides the ability to add or remove the bundles in the future to avoid technology obsolescence,
The company recently completed a private placement of 7,388,000 common shares at a price of $0.25 per share for gross proceeds of $1,847,000.
