[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 2447Y Iomart Group PLC 01 September 2009 \n \n1st September 2009\n\nIOMART GROUP PLC\n('iomart' or the 'Group')\n\niomart partners with top 50 digital agency Cimex to support key government client\n\niomart Group plc (AIM:IOM), the managed hosting services company, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with UK top 50 digital agency Cimex to provide critical support in its management of a number of high profile government portals. \n\nUnder the terms of the contract, iomart Hosting is initially providing Cimex with a fully-fledged Disaster Recovery (DR) solution, complete with multiple servers and firewalls for one of Cimex's key government clients. iomart Hosting will be using its own resilient network of 5 UK data centres to provide Cimex with a secure multi-site capability. \n\nThis contract is viewed by both companies as the start of a long-term relationship and Cimex is now exploring other options for iomart Hosting to provide bespoke solutions for its growing roster of clients.\n\nCimex develops and maintains digital services for the public sector, ensuring its clients' websites meet official standards and remain trusted sources of information. It is therefore included on many central government rosters such as the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), Department of Health (DH), Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), the Learning and Skills Council, the Gambling Commission, the National Lottery and the COI, the UK's largest advertiser.\n\nMamun Ahmed, head of IT and systems at Cimex, said: 'The government portals in particular require unparalleled uptime and support and with iomart Hosting on board we can deliver that. iomart Hosting are real facilitators.
