[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 7595J Iomart Group PLC 09 December 2008 \n\n9 December 2008\n\nIomart Group plc\n('iomart' or the 'Group')\nInterim Results Announcement\n\niomart Group plc (AIM:IOM), the managed hosting business, is pleased to report its consolidated interim results for the six month period ended 30 September 2008.\n\n\nFINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS\n\n\n\nProfit for the period of £12.5m (Sept 2007 loss of £0.2m) including gain from disposal of Ufindus on-line directory operation \n\n\nContinuing operations performed well with combined revenue growth of 58% to £5.7m (Sept 2007 £3.6m)\n\n\nNet cash at end of period of £13.7m (Sept 2007 net debt of £0.6m)\n\n\n\nOPERATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS\n\n\n\nStrong customer base growth, 50% in iomart Hosting and 6,000 new customers in Easyspace\n\n\nNew iomart Hosting customers include HCL, Ufindus/BT, LSE and Stanley Gibbons\n\n\nIncreased sales of dedicated and virtual servers provides platform for significant future growth\n\n\nFurther development of managed hosted products to align with growth of cloud computing\n\n\n\nAngus MacSween, CEO commented,\n\nWe continue to deliver on our strategy of building a managed hosting business with its own infrastructure and development capability.
