In 2008, the Raul-Condestable mine held approximately 10 million tons of Reserves grading 1.27% copper and approximately 7.6 million tons of Measured and Indicated Resources grading 1.77% copper (Even et al., 2009)1. Both properties are characterized by sub-vertical copper-bearing structures with similar surface mineralogy and with extensive lateral continuities. The Española property is at an early exploration stage and no CIMM-compliant Resources currently exist. The northwest striking Ysabel vein structure sporadically outcrops over a distance of approximately 400m and possibly extends under the overburden cover and at a depth. The mineralized widths locally reach up to 3m. The oxidized surface rock contains malachite, bornite, covelite, chalcocite, limonite, iron oxides, pyrolusite and other secondary minerals.Initial limited sampling (7 samples) performed by the Company indicates that the Ysabel mineralization is characterized by anomalous mineral contents which assays on average 3.03% Cu2 and 0.176 g/t Au. One sample is characterized by a Cu content that is above 10%.Three samples (ES-35, ES-36, ES-37) were also taken from a 20cm wide structure where artisan minors periodically extract ore using ru...
