16.7 GWh of Endurium Bids Eligible for Cap & Floor

Invinity Energy Systems PLC announced that 21 project bids, representing approximately 16.7 GWh of their Endurium battery technology, have been deemed eligible for the UK LDES Cap and Floor Scheme by Ofgem. These bids were submitted by four developers. Ofgem initially received 171 valid applications representing 52.6 GW of discharge capacity, and has confirmed that 77 projects, with a total discharge capability of 28.7 GW for a minimum of eight hours, are eligible to progress. The company believes that every eligible project specifying Vanadium Flow Batteries will propose using Invinity's Endurium batteries. Ofgem and NESO will undertake final project assessment in Q4 2025 and aim to publish the initial decision list of projects that will be offered a contract under the Scheme in Spring 2026. Final decisions on projects are due in Summer 2026. \n \nToday's positive development follows the Company's announcement on 23 June 2025 that nine energy storage developers had chosen Invinity's technology for the Scheme. This covered 34 individual project bids. This group includes, but is not limited to, Invinity's partner Frontier Power, with whom Invinity is targeting gigawatt-hour deployment of the Company's technology in the UK and abroad.\n \nThe Company believes that that every eligible project announced today which has specified the use of a Vanadium Flow Battery (or combination of such with another technology) will propose the use of Invinity's Endurium batteries.\n \nAll but one of the confirmed eligible projects are in Track 1 of the Scheme which are deliverable by 2030.
