Chief Financial Officer Transition
International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG) announced that Chief Financial Officer Nicholas Cadbury will step down in June 2026, having joined in early 2022 and contributing to the company's balance sheet recovery and profitability. José Antonio Barrionuevo, currently Chief Financial and Transformation Officer at British Airways since July 2023, will succeed him. Barrionuevo has extensive experience within IAG, including seven years as CFO of Iberia, and previously worked at JP Morgan and McKinsey. He joined the Group in 2013 as Director of Strategy and Transformation at Iberia and has worked in a variety of roles, including seven years as Chief Financial Officer of Iberia.
