NEXTMAP World 30 v2.0 is\n available for license via an Application Programming Interface (API) or\n via Intermap's cloud-based WebStore™. This latest version of the NEXTMap World 30 product is up to three\n times more accurate than competing global Digital Elevation Models\n (DEM) such as NASA's Shuttle Radar Topographic Mission (SRTM) data and\n Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER)\n Global Digital Elevation Model (GDEM). It integrates seamlessly with\n Intermap's recently announced Orion Platform and provides a foundation\n data layer for the Company's web-based 3D Business Intelligence (3DBI®) applications.\n\n\n\"One of the most exciting features of NEXTMap World 30 is that it can be\n purchased, downloaded and used in the same day,\" said Todd Oseth,\n Intermap's president and CEO. \"This means that as the hurricane and\n cyclone seasons approach, governments and industries around the world\n can instantly access the data they need for immediate risk management\n planning purposes.\"\n\n\nIn addition to its web availability, World 30 v2.0 has two distinct\n improvements. World 30 v2.0 has removed errors native to the ASTER GDEM\n v2 data in over 3,000 one-degree tiles north of 60 degrees latitude.\n For an average customer, using 80,000 square kilometers of global\n terrain data, these improvements will save at least 15 hours of manual\n editing time to correct the errors. Additionally, the overall vertical\n accuracy of v2.0 has been improved by over 10 centimeters to a Root\n Mean Square Error (RMSE) of just 7 meters globally.\n\n\nIntermap's customers and partners are excited about World 30 v2.0. Kent\n D. Lee, Founder and CEO of East View Geospatial, an Intermap partner,\n said, \"East View is pleased to offer NEXTMap World 30 v2.0 to our\n global customer base. Intermap's authoritative, consistently updated,\n global terrain product sells well to our long-standing GIS customers\n and university markets around the world. We have supplied more Intermap\n data in the past few months than the past severa...
