[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\nDENVER, Aug. 6, 2013 /CNW/ - Intermap (TSX: IMP), (ITMSF:BB), a leading provider of geospatial solutions on-demand created from its\n uniform, high-resolution 3D digital models of the earth's surface,\n today announced that the Company was awarded a US $3.5 million contract\n for an airborne radar mapping services solution.\n\n\nIntermap is using its proprietary Interferometric Synthetic Aperture\n Radar (IFSAR) technology to collect orthorectified radar imagery and\n high resolution elevation data to enhance the customer's existing\n geospatial map database. This new dataset will be used for improved\n disaster planning, resource management, security interests, and\n infrastructure planning. The project is scheduled to commence\n immediately and the final deliveries of the dataset are expected to be\n substantially complete by the end of the first quarter 2014.\n\n\n\"Because of its unique capabilities, Intermap's IFSAR radar mapping\n technology is considered to be the best and most reliable approach for\n the customer's requirements,\" said Todd Oseth, president and CEO of\n Intermap. \"Intermap's unique solutions approach was a key component for\n this contract win.
