This latest version of MyID PIV supports the most recent Federal Information Processing Standard 201 (FIPS 201) updates and is in use and available today.\nIntercede already has more than 10 US Federal Government Agencies already using MyID PIV 8 and we anticipate that most of these customers will be contracting to upgrade to the new SR1 version over the coming months. The benefit to Agencies is that SR1 will enable them to maintain compliance with the recently modified SP800-73-3 standard as well as facilitating the use of the latest Microsoft platforms.\nMyID PIV 8 SR1 also builds on Intercede's substantial experience in supporting non-Federal customers who need to issue identity credentials that are interoperable with the US Federal PIV systems (PIV-I). The programs include Transportation Worker Identity Credential (TWIC), First Responder Authentication Credential (FRAC) and Airport Credentials Interoperability Solution (ACIS). Intercede has already won the TWIC system, has secured a growing number of early FRAC deployments and anticipates participating in the ACIS program.\nIn addition, MyID PIV 8 SR1 supports private sector US government contractor organisations that wish to benefit from issuing credentials that are compatible with PIV compliant security hardware and electronic card content . These solutions are termed PIV compatible (PIV-C). Intercede is already supplying PIV-C solutions to Lockheed Martin (150,000 employees) and a major US government integrator/consultancy group in the DC area. In...
