Hempsters Inc. to Join Integrated Cannabis Solutions, Inc.’s Accelerator Subsidiary
DENVER, CO. – December 2, 2014 -- Integrated Cannabis Solutions, Inc., (OTC Pink: IGPK) (the “Company”), is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Skywalker Accelerator (“Skywalker”), has accepted Hempsters Inc. as the first startup to join the accelerator.
Hempsters Inc. is a live events company showcasing cannabis focused films while merchandising legal hemp products. The events, while entertaining and inspiring, aim to raise awareness for the legalization movements of hemp and cannabis. The founder of Hempsters Inc., Michael Henning, is the director of the film Hempsters Plant the Seed, starring Woody Harrelson, Ralph Nader, Gatewood Galbraith, Julia Butterfly Hill, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and more. The first dates of the events are soon to be announced.
The Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Skywalker Accelerator, provides startups and early-stage cannabis related companies with capital, mentorship and regulatory guidance in the world's first cannabis-focused startup accelerator program. Skywalker's experienced mentors offer wide-ranging expertise in marijuana and hemp, from manufacturing to biotech, product design to distribution, and producing live events. In return, the Company receives equity interest in the startups. Skywalker has received more than 100 applications from cannabis entrepreneurs in the first application window and recently started the interview and selection process. Skywalker continues to actively look to acquire cannabis-related companies and would like to speak with any entrepreneurs that are interested in becoming part of Skywalker Accelerator.
