July 5, 2012 - Vancouver, British Columbia. Manado Gold Corp. ("Manado") (TSX-V: MDO) is pleased to announce that it has finished the first phase of its surface exploration program on its Clisbako property in the Cariboo Mining Division of British Columbia. The work consisted of prospecting, mapping, rock and soil sampling focusing on the previously untested Bari 1 and Bari 2 zones. A total of seventy-five (75) soil samples and 58 rock chip samples were taken from the two zones and returned anomalous gold values from trace to one 1.06 g/tonne. Manado is diamond drilling approximately 1,600m to test various mineralized zones of epithermal silica stockworks and breccias, and quartz veined volcanic rock identified by its field work.
A comprehensive QA/QC program is in place to monitor the precision and accuracy of the assay results. The soil sample stream is submitted with standards, duplicates and blanks. Samples were analyzed by AGAT Laboratories, Mississauga, Ontario, using an Aqua Regia Digest.
