Manado Commences Drilling on Clisbako Property

June 11, 2012 - Vancouver, British Columbia. Manado Gold Corp. ("Manado") (TSX-V: MDO) is pleased to announce that it has commenced diamond drilling on its Clisbako property which consists of ten contiguous mineral claims totalling 167 cells, or 3387.889 hectares, in the Cariboo Mining Division of British Columbia.

The current diamond drill program consists of approximately 2,000m and will test mineralized zones of epithermal silica stockworks and breccias, and quartz veined volcanic rock identified by previous field work carried out by Manado.

Jo Shearer, M Sc. PGeo, is a Qualified Person as defined in National Instrument 43-101 - Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects and is responsible for the work program on the Clisbako Property. Mr. Shearer has supervised and approved all technical information in this news release.
