TecCom manufactures a range of the highly successful Tecotherm Neo product which is used to cool and warm babies in neonatal intensive care settings. The Company also announces that it has agreed the renewal of its long term contract with Micrel Medical Devices SA (\"Micrel\"), the manufacturers of a range of infusion pumps.\n \nInspiration Healthcare has been the exclusive distributor of Tecotherm products on a worldwide basis for over 11 years and has, through supporting clinical research, helped establish the range as market leader in many countries around the world. The range of products include the Techotherm Neo designed for the cooling and warming of babies particularly in the treatment of Neonatal Encephalopathy that may cause cerebral palsy in a newborn.\n \nAn earlier version of the Tecotherm Neo, the Tecotherm TSmed200 was used in the TOBY study in the UK, which researched whole body hypothermia for the treatment of perinatal asphyxial encephalopathy and demonstrated the benefits of cooling in this patient cohort.  \n \nInspiration Healthcare has been the distributor of Micrel products in the UK and Ireland for a number of years. The products are used in a wide range of infusion therapies including parenteral feeding, post operative pain management, regional analgesia, chemotherapy and a range of other applications.
