[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n \n RNS Number : 7187T\n Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC\n 29 March 2021\n  \n \n \n \n  \n \n \n  \n \n \n Inspiration Healthcare Group plc\n \n \n (\"Inspiration Healthcare\", the \"Company\" or the \"Group\")\n \n \n  \n \n \n Micrel Distribution Agreement and \n \n \n Infant Centre, Cork MoU \n \n \n  \n \n \n Inspiration Healthcare Group plc (AIM: IHC), the global medical technology company, is pleased to announce that it has signed a new three year agreement with Micrel SA, a leading manufacturer of infusion devices. \n The agreement is a renewal of an existing agreement which has been in place for some years for the distribution of Micrel's products in the UK and Ireland which are used in a wide range of infusion therapies including parenteral feeding, post-operative pain management, regional analgesia, chemotherapy and a range of other applications. Most recently, Inspiration Healthcare has been shifting its focus towards developing a greater share of the UK infusion therapy market and it has recently won an order for 100 Micrel syringe drivers for use in Chemotherapy Therapy from a major NHS Trust.  \n \n \n  \n \n \n Inspiration is also delighted to announce that it has signed a \n Memorandum of Understanding with the Irish Centre for Maternal and Child Health Research (INFANT) at University College Cork (UCC), Ireland, a research centre focused on pregnancy, birth and early childhood. The agreement allows for Inspiration and INFANT to work closely together on research and innovation projects relating to sick and premature babies, helping with regulatory work and clinical user feedback.\n \n \n  \n \n \n Neil Campbell, Chief Executive Officer, commented: \"We are delighted to have extended our successful relationship with Micrel with whom we have worked for many years and are excited in the opportunities we have for continuing to grow this important part of our business as we focus on new therapy areas for their technology.
