Sirius Financial Servicessubsidiary, Samvriddhi, Receives New Banking Mandate from Regional Rural Bank
SanDiego, CA – August 21, 2012- Sirius Financial Services (Pink Sheets: JZZI)subsidiary, SAMVRIDDHI, got themandate for creating 65 Customer Service Points (CSPs) from a Regional Rural Bank (SKGB) sponsoredby State Bank of India, the largest commercial Bank in India in the State ofBihar, India.
TheBank has also mandated SAMVRIDDHI to create 22 Ultra Small Branch (USB) out of65 CSPs as per the Government of India guidelines to distribute varioussubsidies granted to the Bottom of the Pyramid people through these USBs.Besides, there are at least 32 schemes where the benefits are to be transferredto the beneficiaries and adoption of electronic benefit transfer would greatlyenhance the efficiency of such transfers, besides reducing the scope ofmalpractices. In this project, the Bank has provided Financial Inclusionsoftware taken from ‘c-edge’, aTechnology outfit jointly promoted by StateBank of India and TCS (Tata Consultancy Services).
